Project Goals
A Head Office That Needed Smarter Surveillance
A corporate headquarters sees steady traffic from employees, visitors, and vehicles throughout the day.
The client wanted to upgrade its existing CCTV system to cover more of the property and make footage easier to search. Vehicle identification was a priority, as was reducing the time staff spend reviewing hours of video.
The office also needed screens in several spaces, installed with the same attention to detail as the camera system.
Our Solution
30+ Cameras with Built-In Artificial Intelligence
Citadel replaced and expanded the existing system with more than 30 security cameras. Specialized license plate recognition cameras were placed to capture vehicles entering and leaving the property.
Across the system, AI smart events detect specific activity, such as people or vehicles in defined areas, so relevant footage may be easier to find.
Inside the office, our team mounted Samsung Frame TVs in several spaces, with cabling kept out of sight for a clean finish.

Project Process
From Walkthrough to Handover
Site Assessment
-
Our team walked the office and grounds to review the existing cameras, vehicle entry points, and areas that needed better coverage.
-
We discussed the client’s security priorities, including vehicle identification and how footage would be reviewed day to day.
System Planning
-
We selected license plate recognition cameras for the vehicle entrances and placed the remaining cameras to reduce blind spots across the property.
AI smart events were planned around the areas and activity the client wanted flagged, so alerts stay relevant.
Installation
-
Work was scheduled to limit disruption to staff and visitors during business hours.
-
Samsung Frame TVs were mounted in several office spaces, with cabling concealed to match the finished interior.
Setup & Training
-
We configured the LPR and AI settings, tested each camera, and walked the client’s team through searching and reviewing footage.
-
Our team remains available for support as the client’s needs change.
Project Highlights
Three Upgrades, One Office
The finished system gives Thermon consistent video coverage across both Ontario facilities, built around the way their plants operate day and night. Each part of the project was planned to meet the client’s compliance requirements and handle the conditions of an industrial site. Here’s what the completed installation includes.
Vehicle Identification
Dedicated LPR cameras capture plate numbers as vehicles arrive and leave. Plate data may help security staff confirm who visited the property and when. Searching by plate number can also shorten the time spent reviewing footage.
Faster Footage Review
AI Smart Events
Instead of recording motion from every passing shadow, AI analytics flag the activity that matters, such as people or vehicles in specific zones. This may help reduce false alerts and make incident review quicker.
Office Displays
Samsung Frame TV Installation
Samsung Frame TVs were installed in several spaces around the office. These TVs sit close to the wall and can display artwork when not in use, so they fit into a corporate interior. Our team handled mounting and concealed the cabling.

Many offices plan a security upgrade and leave display installation for a separate contractor. Bringing both into one project means one team handles the cabling, mounting, and finishing work. This may help reduce scheduling conflicts and keep the office looking consistent once the work is done.
